About our staffEloquentia is made up of a student team and mentor teacher. This group of diverse and talented individuals controls and directs the whole of Eloquentia, from the website design, flyer creation, and submission formats, to the editing, writing, and PR work done to inspire Oxford's students.
Opportunities to join the staff are posted on this website, under News, as well as Oxford School District's Facebook page. They may also be communicated through mentor emails. |
michelle green
faculty adviser
|
Michelle Green has been teaching English Language Arts courses through Oxford Virtual Academy for seven years. She is often inspired (and awed) by the creativity and insights her students share through their written work. She believes in the power of art and the benefits of student publications like Eloquentia. Outside of work, she loves spending time in the outdoors and with her family.

hope tsaisubmission manager
|
Hope Tsai is a senior this year, and a part-time student of OVA; she loves all sorts of school subjects, and is always up for learning something new! Some fun facts about her are: she has a vast knowledge of musical theatre, she wants to read through all of Agatha Christie and William Shakespeare's work, and she loves Atom and hates BlueJ for coding! In her spare time, she dances, sings, and writes; she crochets from time to time, and her latest project was a Hufflepuff blanket. Hope can't wait to see how Eloquentia grows after her graduation, and is so excited that people are still devoting time and energy to the arts!

love tsaieditor-in-chief
|
Love Tsai is in her last year of high school as a part-time student of OVA. In school, she enjoys learning about anything and everything, although she does have a soft spot for art history and the classics. Other fun facts about Love include: she naturally writes in extremely long sentences (hello, periodic sentence!), has a weakness for sweets, and can wake up naturally at a certain time after doing it with an alarm for a few days. Love enjoys creative endeavors such as music, dance, and art, and this passion for creativity is what initially led her to join the Eloquentia staff. Though she will be sad to leave behind Eloquentia after this year, she is extremely excited to train the next generation of students in fostering and treasuring art in a fast-paced and often STEM-dominated world.

Nathan Freundlintern: graphic design and submissions
|
Nathan Freundl joined OVA as a full-time sophomore this year.. His passion is beauty, in the form of theatre, writing, and film photography. He aims to fill up a sketchbook some day. Nathan thoroughly enjoys listening to old musical soundtracks; he wishes it were the 1900's again. Every summer is spent escaping the world on Beaver Island, Michigan, with his sister and two cousins. And because he has no idea what he wants to be when he graduates, he's not going to grow up. Nathan admires creative arts of any kind and knows that Eloquentia is a marvelous opportunity to keep them alive.
