Spring 2019
What’s on your mind?
This semester, Eloquentia is taking an open-theme approach to encourage student submissions and enhance the creative outlet. Students are invited to write, draw, and create about anything they wish, or about nothing at all. This innovative mindset means that submissions can include topics such as politics and nature, philosophy and science. This also means that some submissions don’t need to have a topic at all, but merely exist to explore and showcase various techniques or styles. Students are free to explore more special and derivative forms of art, so an argumentative essay about revivals on Broadway or a painting inspired by Van Gogh would also be welcome with open arms.
Submission details can be found on this website under the Submit tab. Rules and regulations (such as those concerning vulgarity or topic nature) still apply. Plagiarism is always under heavy scrutiny here at Eloquentia, and this holds even more true for students who decide to pursue fan-based work or artwork/literature that is otherwise based on a piece already present in society. Should students or parents have any questions, don’t hesitate to use the Contact tab to reach Eloquentia-- a response can be expected within 48 hours of one’s message.
